Sebuah situs jejaring sosial yang mirip dengan Facebook, namanya VK (Vorwerk Kobold) mengadakan kontes akhir tahun khusus orang Indonesia berhadiah iPod nano 5G (senilai ($189) untuk 40 pemenang (2x lipat dibandingkan dengan kontes sebelumnya, terbukti teman saya mendapatkannya saat kontes pertama dulu).
Saya jadi tertarik untuk ikut kontes ini dan bermaksud mengajak sahabat juga untuk turut meramaikan kontes ini, setidaknya untuk menambah jaringan pertemanan di dunia maya. Jangan khawatir, pendaftarannya GRATIS !.
Cara mendaftar ikut kontes :
1. Silahkan klik disini
2. Isi formulir pendaftaran dengan lengkap dan sesuai data yang sebenarnya
3. Aktivasi pendaftaran melalui link yang dikirimkan VK ke email anda
4. Pastikan HP anda aktif, masukkan nomor HP anda pada link aktivasi untuk mendapatkan kode aktivasi via sms. Format isian no hp adalah +62…. misalnya no hp anda 081802114081 maka anda masukkan +6281802114081. Tunggu kira-kira 1-5 menit hingga sms berisi 5 digit kode aktivasi dikirimkan ke no hp anda via sms oleh VK.
5. Masukkan 5 digit kode aktivasi tsb utk mengaktifkan keanggotaan anda.
6. Selanjutnya anda dibawa masuk ke member area VK anda dan di sebelah kiri ada link “Contest detail”. Klik link tersebut utk menemukan link affiliasi anda seperti yg sy punya disini.
7. Pastikan juga mengklik menu “My Profile” di sebelah kiri atas untuk melengkapi data diri (contact information), terutama NAMA dan ALAMAT untuk pengiriman hadiah dan sahabat WAJIB MENGUPLOAD FOTO dan MENGISI DATA PENDIDIKAN sahabat.
Setelah mendaftar, invite-lah teman-teman sahabat sebanyak mungkin dari facebook, friendster, twitter, dll, untuk bergabung di VK supaya bisa masuk peringkat 40 besar kandidat penerima iPod nano 5G ini.
Sekadar info saat saya menulis artikel ini, peserta kontes peringkat terbawah (ke-40) baru mendapatkan 3 orang! (saya tidak salah ketik, 3 orang! masih besar sekali peluang kita untuk masuk posisi posisi 20 besar kandidat penerima iPod nano 5G. Jangan mau kalah! sahabat masih punya kesempatan hingga tanggal 20 Februari 2010 pukul 03.00 untuk bisa merebut hadiah diatas.
Tips on Writing Resume
Human resources professionals usually receive huge number of job applications every day. So a resume that is clear and precise will certainly make you stand out from others. Even though there is no limitation to the length of a resume, one to two pages are desirable and the maximum is three pages.
Relevant information
If you want to give as much information as possible within two pages of your resume, you should only give information relevant to the job. Avoid personal details such as hobbies, marital status, weight, height or number of children you have.
Achievements
To distinguish yourself from other applicants, do not just list out job responsibilities in the past. Most employers know these already. Instead, try to highlight achievements especially quantifiable ones.
Key words
Some large organisations scan resumes by looking for key words of certain industries or skill sets. Therefore, use key words such as contract negotiation, project management, network support, and product development.
Proofreading
Remember to proofread your resume again and again to avoid any typos. Misspelled words will give an impression that either you do not know the spelling or that you do not put effort in preparing your resume. Some employers, especially those in the editorial field, throw away resumes with spelling or grammatical mistakes.
Design
The design is as important as the content. Make your resume easy and comfortable to read. Highlight your strengths clearly. Do not print it on fancy coloured paper.
